Emphasize your beauty! Eyelash and eyebrow henna

Sometimes simple cosmetic treatments give the best results. This is definitely the case with henna. It gives really great results and saves you from having to make a full make-up. Check if henna can convince you too.

Henna – for whom?

It is recommended to everybody regardless of the type of skin and hair. However, it will be of use to those who:

  • have very light eyebrows and eyelashes,
  • changed the hair colour and have to match the shade of eyelashes and eyebrows to them,
  • whose natural pigment has been lost,
  • have to optically correct the shape of the eyes,
  • want to emphasize eyelashes and eyebrows,
  • would like to give up their make-up,
  • want to emphasize their beauty.

What is henna?

Henna is a dye that is obtained from the plant Lawsonia inermis. The powdered product is mixed with water, then this is applied on eyelashes and eyebrows for a few minutes. Remember to use a rubber gloves to protect your hands and after finishing, carefully wash your face so that your skin is not tinted.

How does it look like?

The treatment involves application of a dye in the shade close to the colour of complexion and hair on eyelashes or eyebrows. The effect obtained depends on how long the paste is kept on the hair. Before the first try, it’s worth doing a patch test to check if it will be safe for us. The effects last even up to several weeks.

Henna tinting – in-salon and at-home?

It is a relatively simple procedure. Just choose the right cosmetic and its colour and then apply it on your eyebrows or eyelashes. However, many people make a very basic mistake. Namely, they do not wash their eyebrows after the recommended time. What’s the effect? Eyelashes and eyebrows are very dark, have an uneven shape, or there is too much or too little pigment in some places. In a salon, the tinting will be done without any risk of irritation and with a natural result.

Do you know that…

Lawsone, a dye in the leaves of the henna plant, has a similar structure to the keratin found in out hair? Thanks to this it can go directly inside the streak and give it a red or brown shade. Lawsone also reduces the hair loss, regulates the activity of sebaceous glands, affects hair growth and regenerates.
